On August 29, 2020 at 4:01 am little William David Bluver entered the world at 8lbs, 10 oz and measuring 21.5 inches long. Our dream IVF miracle baby made it safely after a smooth delivery!

Named after his two grandfathers, baby Will as we plan to call him, looks just like his dad. From the eyes to his little chin, he is a mini Ted. We’re learning how to embrace our new life together, and so far I am enchanted by his facial expressions, the cute sounds he makes, and the fact that I made such a perfect little human.

At the time I’m writing this, I’m only thirteen days into motherhood and have so many thoughts and feelings about what’s happened these last few days. From the delivery to coming home to the first nights as a new mom, a lot has happened! I think I have felt every feeling available on the spectrum of human emotion and I’d be lying if I said this is all a magical time. This is hard and I’ve learned that it really does indeed take a village to raise a child and am so grateful for my support system of family and friends.

I can’t wait to share these early days into motherhood and more about baby William. In between these sleepless nights and adjusting to our new life, I hope to find time to write things down, so stay tuned !
