Introducing Re:Beauty Skincare

Re:Beauty | www.mypetitejoys.com

Many of you know my love and obsession with skincare  and I enjoy following a lot of skincare brands via Instagram. I recently come across the brand Re:Beauty and liked that their products were plant based and the company is female led.

I was actually planning on reaching out to them at the end of the year to try out some products, so when I received a message from their founder Marcela Speert a few weeks ago my jaw dropped. Marcela was interested to see if I’d like to try some products and I was thrilled! Sometimes the universe comes into alignment and things are meant to be!

Marcela asked me about my skin type (it’s dry dry dry!) and personally picked these products to help nourish my skin:

  • Ultimate Hydration Cream with Re:vitaplex
  • Nourishing and Hydrating Pure Face Oil

I received the goodies in the mail with a lovely hand written note and instructions for how to use the products from Marcela herself.  I am floored by how personal and kind Marcela and the Re:Beauty team are. I’ve been using the products for a few weeks and want to share my thoughts about this great skincare line.

Nourishing and Hydrating Pure Face Oil

I’ve been using facial oils for a long time and have explored my fair share of brands so was excited to give this one a go. The Re:Beauty facial oil improves your skin’s moisture balance, clarity, and tone using ingredients like evening primrose oil, chia seed oil, and acai fruit oil.

Marcela told me it’s best used after cleansing when your skin is fresh and ready to absorb healthy goodness so that’s what I did! After using this for a few weeks, I have to say, I love this oil. I apply at night and use my Herbivore Jade Facial Roller to massage this oil into my face. The smell is clean and light, the packaging is in a quality glass vial, and the oil absorbs fabulously into the skin. I had been going through a hard time health wise when I tried this oil and despite my health issues, my skin stayed soft, supple, and clear. I am convinced this oil helped.

Ultimate Hydration Cream with Re:vitaplex

Now THIS cream is my favorite of the bunch. As I’ve said, my skin is dry, and I find that most creams advertised as “hydrating” are a bit of a joke when applied to my poor dry skin. I was skeptical at first, but Re:Beauty’s ultimate hydration cream is amazing and blew me away.

The cream is a pretty fair pink, thick but not pore clogging. It has a very light scent that smells a bit like rose, but not in an overpowering, flowery way. What I like is that a little goes a long way but its still very hydrating! I tend to go through moisturizers fast because I have to use so much, but look how much I still have after two weeks of use! I applied once a day before bed time and when I woke up my skin felt hydrated, soft and, smooth. Just what I need for this upcoming winter.

Not only is the cream hydrating (thanks to its ingredients of coconut oil and shea butter) but it also has anti-aging goodies like Re:vitaplex.™  Re:vitaplex is Re:Beauty’s proprietary complex. It’s filled with exclusive peptides, raspberry stem cell extract, super antioxidants that skin loves. This ultimate hydration cream is a win in my book and I’m so glad I found a new skincare staple.
